New reduced dues available for nonprofit/public
sector
New for 2008: CREW
Detroit is offering a 50-percent dues discount for members employed by a
tax-exempt nonprofit organization (such as a land trust, a low income housing
provider or other public service provider), or a member employed by a
governmental agency (such as a city, downtown development authority or economic
growth corporation). The purpose of the dues reduction is to increase the
diversity of the CREW Detroit
membership base, and enable participation by valuable members of the real
estate community who otherwise would not have the resources for the full dues
amount. Please pass this information along to your contacts in the nonprofit/public
sector. They may contact Norma Beuter at
beuter@comcast.net, Sandy
Sorini Elser at
ssorini@bodmanllp.com or Tina Katikos at
tina.katikos@kimball.com with questions or for a membership application.
Renew your membership online
If you
haven’t already renewed your CREW Detroit
membership for 2008, it’s easy to do it online.
Renewing members may pay their 2008 dues here (http://www.crewnetwork.org/OnlineRenewals/2008/login.php) or from a link on CREW Detroit’s web site (http://www.crewdetroit.org).
You’ll need to enter your member number, which
is the password you use to log into the “members only” section on CREW
Network’s website. This option is available only to paid 2007 members. New and newly approved members without a
member number can renew by mail or fax; look for details in your 2008 dues
invoice. For more information, contact
CREW Network’s Heidi Warren at heidiw@crewnetwork.org.
2008 CREW Detroit sponsorship brochure available online
A new
brochure detailing CREW Detroit’s
2008 sponsorship opportunities is now available online (http://www.crewdetroit.org/sponsorcrew.pdf).
Printed brochures will be available at upcoming chapter meetings and in
a mailing to members from the sponsorship committee, or by contacting Norma Beuter, chapter administrator, at beuter@comcast.net. CREW offers sponsorship options for every
budget – and all provide a cost-effective way to reach metro Detroit’s real estate decision makers and
support the chapter’s wonderful programs and community work.
Targeting key women in commercial real estate for
membership
In 2008 CREW Detroit will be reaching
out to key women in the commercial real estate area to encourage membership in
our organization. To ensure that we have a diverse base of key women to
contact, the membership committee is gathering input and suggestions from all
of our current members. Please think
about those women who have made a significant impact on you or your profession,
and pass that information along to the membership committee. Please direct names/information to Norma Beuter at beuter@comcast.net, Sandy Sorini
Elser at ssorini@bodmanllp.com, Tina Katikos at tina.katikos@kimball.com or Kathy Weaver at
Katherine_Weaver@ars.aon.com with information.
Thank you for your support of CREW Detroit!
