As we usher in a new year and a new decade, there are many exciting things planned for CREW Detroit. In preparing for the year ahead, I reflected on my past experience in CREW. I joined CREW almost a decade ago. In these past 10 years, I have been inspired by those who have led before us, who blazed the trail, and who are relentlessly committed to our core purpose – advancing the success of women in CRE so that the industry is successful.
Moving into 2020, we are eager to execute on the goals built into our 2020-2025 strategic plan. The common thread in our goals is forward momentum. We realize we have achieved great success, but we need to continue with this momentum to not just see progress, but to influence a transformation. The three pillars of our plan are: (1) Member Experience and Engagement, (2) Inclusivity, (3) Industry Influence.
In addition to the roll-out of our strategic plan, we are embarking on a new branding campaign. As part of our local chapter’s journey on defining what we want our future to be, the global organization of CREW Network was also embarking on a new branding campaign. These efforts came together at the right time for CREW Detroit, which has led to the design of a new logo and brand focus.
The new mark of our organization emphasizes our forward momentum and pushing the industry forward. It conveys sophistication and polish. And our colors align with how we view Detroit – bold, strong and fearless. We are confident, inspiring, vibrant and professional. We are all stronger when we work together.
There are many exciting things happening with CREW and I encourage you to stay connected to our journey in the following ways:
