crew detroit impact awards

The CREW Detroit Impact Awards recognize three southeast Michigan commercial property developments that significantly impact their surrounding communities -- one redevelopment, one new construction project and, new in 2008, one special recognition project (new construction or redevelopment) smaller than 50,000 square feet.

To enter, a property must meet these criteria:

  • completed between Jan. 1, 2007, and June 30, 2008
  • involve at least one company with a CREW Detroit member
  • located in southeast Michigan
  • significantly impact (social, economic, environmental, design or construction innovation, creative use of existing materials, sensitive land use, etc.) its surrounding community

The 2008 winners will receive their awards at a Sept. 18 awards luncheon at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills. Always a sellout, this event attracts up to 200 commercial property decision makers from throughout Michigan.
