The Detroit chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women
(CREW Detroit), founded in 1986, is one of the largest local chapters
of the CREW Network, a
professional organization of more than 7,000 commercial real estate
women in 65 major markets across the U.S. and Canada.
CREW Detroit’s core purpose is to advance the
success of women in commercial real estate. Our envisioned future
is that women will have parity in opportunity, influence and power
in the commercial real estate industry. Having member representation
in nearly every discipline of commercial real estate is what sets
us apart.
CREW Detroit has more than 150 members from all commercial
real estate professions. Our members can assist you on every aspect
of a commercial real estate deal, from A to Z, accounting to zoning!
Member disciplines include, but are not limited to: accounting,
architecture, appraisal, acquisitions, development, finance, leasing,
property/asset management, law, sales/brokerage and syndication/investment.
Surveys show that CREW members nationwide are industry
leaders and decision makers:
- CREW members average 14 years of commercial real
estate experience
- More than 63 percent are presidents, CEOs, partners
or senior managers of their companies
- 76 percent reported making decisions on hiring
outside vendors or contractors
- Median income level reported: in excess of $100,000
per year
- Average income level reported: $125,800 per year
- More than 75% have received or given a referral
from or to another member
- Nearly 50% reported having conducted a commercial
real estate transaction with another member
We have an exciting lineup of programs
for the coming year. Please join us to experience the many benefits
(and fun!) of CREW Detroit. |
